At St. Robert of Newminster Parish, and within the Diocese of Grand Rapids, sacramental prep for Reconciliation & Communion occurs during 2nd grade. All disciples enrolled in the 2nd grade Faith Formation program or in 2nd grade at St. Robert Catholic School will automatically receive sacrament prep.
Important Dates for the 2024-2025 Faith Formation year:
- Parent/Child Reconciliation Retreat: Sunday, September 29, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. in Newminster Hall
- First Reconciliation: Saturday, December 14, 2024; 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary
- Parent/Child First Communion Retreat: Sunday, March 23, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. in Newminster Hall
- First Communion Mass: Sunday, May 4, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary
