At St. Robert of Newminster Parish, and within the Diocese of Grand Rapids, sacramental prep for Reconciliation & Communion occurs during 2nd grade. All disciples enrolled in the 2nd grade Faith Formation program or in 2nd grade at St. Robert Catholic School will automatically receive sacrament prep.
KEY DATES for 2023-2024:
- Reconciliation Parent/Child Retreat – September 24, 2023, 1-2:30 pm, Newminster Hall
- Celebration of First Reconciliation – December 9, 2023, 10:00 am, Main Church
- Plate Painting – February 5 & 6, 2024, During Faith Formation Classes, Newminster Hall
- Parent-Child First Communion Retreat – March 3, 2024, 1-2:30 pm, Main Church
- Celebration of First Holy Communion – May 5, 2024, 1:30 pm, Main Church
