Bishop Kevin Britt Council 8117: With over 70,000 members in Michigan and 2.0 million worldwide, the Knights of Columbus is the world’s largest Catholic family fraternal service organization. It provides members and their families with volunteer opportunities in service to various charities, the Catholic Church, the community, families, and young people.

Pancake Breakfast | Sunday, March 15 after the 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. Masses
Leave breakfast (and clean up) to the Knights! Sunday, March 15, 2026 in Newminster Hall following the 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. Masses. Free will donations are accepted for breakfast with a suggested donation of $8 per person and $25 per family.
Habitat for Humanity Work Day | Saturday, March 21, 10:00 a.m. to noon
The Knights have set up a work day with Habitat for Humanity on Saturday, March 21, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to noon. We have openings for up to 10 volunteers! Get to Know the Knights Open House | Thursday, March 26, 7:00 p.m.
On Thursday, March 26 at 7:00 p.m. in the Lourdes and Fatima Rooms of Marian Hall (enter through Door A), Brother Knights of Council 8117 and their families will host a fun-filled evening of food and fellowship and an opportunity to learn about what it means to be a Knight of Columbus. Pope St. John Paul II called the Knights of Columbus the “Strong Right Arm of the Church.” Pope Leo XIV referred to the Knights as “Heralds of Hope.” The Knights will share the fascinating history, personal experiences and rewards of brotherhood in the order. Meet the Knights of our parish and learn how we practice faith in action as we support our parish, our priests, and our community through the pillars of charity, unity, fraternity and patriotism. Reverse Raffle and Dinner: Thanks to everyone who purchased tickets for and came out to the Knights of Columbus Council Reverse Raffle on Feb. 21 and especially to our event donors: Vitale’s of Ada, Hungry Howie’s of Ada, Longhorn Steakhouse of Cascade, Ada Pharmacy, Bernard’s Hardware of Lowell, Novosad Realty, St. Robert staff and school. Coats for Kids Drive (held during October) – The Knights of Columbus wrapped up their Coats for Kids Drive at the end of October. Thank you to all who donated new and gently used coats which will go to children and families of our sister parish Holy Name of Jesus and San Juan Diego Academy in Wyoming.
The SRN Knights of Columbus do more than just host the Pancake Breakfasts and Tootsie Roll drives after Mass. Our parishioners enjoy the efforts of our K of C without realizing it! The Knights support our parish by:
- Providing baby blankets for children baptized at SRN
- Donating the Holy Family statuary in the southeast corner of our Sanctuary
- Donating a Memorial Flag for a Gold Star Family at SRN
- Initiating the Fr. Len Sudlik Scholarship fund for Saint Robert Catholic School
- Donating Blessed Mother statues for all classrooms at Saint Robert Catholic School
- Assisting in setting up for major events including Christmas, Easter, and our Parish Picnic
They also host, support, and facilitate the following activities at SRN:
- Kids’ Soccer & Free-Throw Challenges
- Keep Christ in Christmas Poster Contest
- Youth Essay Contest
- Fifth Sunday Rosary
- KEPHA Men’s Conference
- Habitat for Humanity
- Stations of the Cross
