Dégagé Ministries offers hope and opportunity to those facing homelessness and poverty. A group of dedicated St. Robert parishioners share in this support by preparing and serving lunch for around 100 women on the first Friday of each month on-site at Dégagé Ministries in downtown Grand Rapids. The three-hour commitment by parishioners is a labor of love and volunteers always comment on how much fun they have serving others! It is an easy and rewarding way to show God’s love and give back to our West Michigan community.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: We need four volunteers each month to meet on the first Friday at the St. Robert’s Newminster Hall at 10:00 a.m. If you would be interested in volunteering check the following SignUp Genius links for available slots:

This ministry is also in need of a new meal planner and on-site ministry leader during the winter months. Duties for the position include coordinating volunteers, purchasing food and supplies (paid for by the parish), and leading the onsite team at Dégagé.
