One of our biggest challenges every year is finding talented and dynamic catechists to teach faith formation. You might think you’re neither a talented nor dynamic teacher, so being a catechist is not for you. However, if you have helped raise or are raising children, then you have the talent for this work. What’s more, with instructions provided in our cutting edge curriculum, an orientation retreat to get you headed in the right direction, a genuine love of Christ, and a little bit of practice, you can become a dynamic conduit of Christ’s love for your students in no time. Being a catechist is a life-changing experience – not just for the kids, but for you. What better way to deepen your knowledge and relationship with our Lord than to prepare lessons about Him and teach them to our St. Robert youth? Finally, as a thank you, all faith formation registration fees are waived for the families of weekly catechists and catechist assistants. Please ask God if He is calling you into this life-giving work.
