Take home a Rice Bowl this weekend
|
Take home a CRS Rice Bowl (see tables in the narthex) and place it on your family’s dinner table or another location where you’ll regularly see it. Then, incorporate the daily reflections and actions found in the Rice Bowl Lenten calendar each day.
- As you pray, please pray for people facing hunger around the world and here at home.
- As you fast, please remember those for whom fasting is not voluntary.
- As you prayerfully discern giving alms, please consider how your gifts will support the global work of the Church through CRS Rice Bowl, particularly at this moment when so many of our sisters and brothers are experiencing hunger and poverty.

Begin the Lenten season with Ash Wednesday Mass
|
Ash Wednesday Masses at St. Robert will be celebrated Feb. 18 at 9:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. While not a holy day of obligation, Ash Wednesday draws Catholics to Mass because it serves as a powerful and tangible start to the Lenten season focused on prayer, fasting and repentance.
Please remember: - There will be no evening Faith Formation sessions, Community Dinner or confession on Feb. 18 due to Ash Wednesday Mass.
- Ashes will not be distributed from the school or parish offices.
- For additional Mass times at churches around the diocese, please visit the Diocese of Grand Rapids website.
