An Exchange of Friendship and Hospitality
It was a joy to host Father Charlie Brown, Rosemary Belmares, San Juan Diego Academy Principal Kristina Martinez-Precious and students and families of San Juan Diego Academy (SJDA) at St. Robert February 1 and 2 during pulpit swap weekend. Members of the SJDA children’s choir sang during Sunday Masses and parishioners enjoyed delicious churros and hot chocolate served by the SJDA families afterward.

St. Robert has a longtime commitment to supporting our sister parish, Holy Name of Jesus and SJDA. Our commitment of support for SJDA this year is $50,000. San Juan Diego Academy students care about their education; they love God; they pray and enjoy attending Mass. Their parents work long hours and make great sacrifices for the sake of prioritizing their children’s education, but these students still face many barriers to success. They need someone to believe in them. Will that someone be you? Your generosity today will have a lasting impact in their lives. If you weren’t able to give on the pulpit swap weekend, please prayerfully consider a gift or pledge of support for these students. MARIAN HALL IS BUZZING WITH ACTIVITY!
Marian Hall is complete! The parish staff have moved in and the meeting spaces, several of them named for our Blessed Mother, are coming alive with parish activities. Take a look at photos of the youth of our parish during Tuesday evening faith formation! If you haven’t yet had the opportunity to see Marian Hall in person, please contact the parish office to schedule a tour – we’d be happy to show you around!
ON THE CONSTRUCTION FRONT
Progress continues on the education wing expansion and Parish Activities Center! Exterior and interior support walls for these spaces have been erected and the roof is on. Now that our faith formation staff have found a new home in Marian Hall, renovation has begun on their former space which will become the new school media center. As part of Catholic Schools Week, St. Robert School students and staff had the opportunity to tour these areas while our construction team was on lunch break. Check out a few photos below.
