ST. ROBERT CATHOLIC SCHOOL CHRISTMAS CONCERT RESCHEDULED TO THURSDAY, DEC. 11 AT 1:30 P.M.
|
Please see the message below from St. Robert School Principal Liz Peters regarding the school Christmas concert originally scheduled for this evening:
Good afternoon,
With heavy hearts, Fr. Tony and I have made the difficult decision to cancel this evening’s Christmas Concert. While the snow is expected to stop, the dropping temperatures will continue to make the roads icy, and the safety of our families must come first.
Because the stage and rental chairs are already set up, we will hold the concert tomorrow afternoon at 1:30 p.m. for anyone who is able to attend. We will also record the performance using our new system and, God willing, everything will work smoothly so we can share the recording with all families next week.
For tomorrow, please send your students to school in their Christmas best so they are ready for the afternoon performance.
Stay safe and warm.
Liz Peters Principal

REMINDER FOR THIS EVENING
|
Due to today’s weather conditions, ALL parish programming for Wednesday evening, Dec. 10 has been cancelled.
This includes Eucharistic Adoration, Faith Formation, the Community Dinner, and the Children’s Choir.
Father Tony celebrated 9:00 a.m. Mass this morning and he will be available to hear confessions this evening at 6:00 p.m. in the reconciliation rooms of the Eucharistic Chapel. Please exercise caution and practice prudence when making the decision to travel to church when conditions are hazardous.
|
In very rare circumstances will we cancel the celebration of Mass due to weather. Because of this, we ask all parishioners and friends to exercise caution and practice prudence when making the decision to travel to the parish when road conditions are dangerous.
Furthermore, when Forest Hills Public Schools close due to weather, Saint Robert Catholic School will also close and parish programming will be cancelled for the day (unless otherwise noted).
We will post cancellation details as early as we can via email, text message, Facebook, Instagram, our Parish App, and our website.
