MARCH 31 UPDATE: POWER OUTAGE AT ST. ROBERT OF NEWMINSTER CATHOLIC CHURCH AND SCHOOL
|
Good morning, We hope this message finds you safe and well.
As of 6:00 a.m. this morning, Monday, March 31, there is still no power at SRN church and school. SCHOOL IS CLOSED TODAY.
Please see additional information below:
THE MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL for FRANK HOOVER today will take place at 11:00 a.m. as scheduled (with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m.) whether or not power to the church is restored. The funeral luncheon will also take place.
PLEASE NOTE: If power is not restored to the church by the time of this morning’s funeral Mass, it will be darker than normal in the Sanctuary and Narthex, even with the emergency lights on. Please be mindful of this when deciding to attend. Additionally, the HVAC system cannot function without power. This means the church may be cooler than normal. Please plan accordingly.
Our phone system is also impacted by the outage which means we will be unable to make or receive calls until power is restored. If you have a pastoral emergency in which one needs to receive Last Rites from a priest for a loved one who is dying, please call our pastoral care director, Katie, at (231) 250-9868.
We will communicate additional updates to you as we have them. Thank you for your patience.
