Parish Newsletter for June 10, 2024 Tenth Week in Ordinary Time
|
On Sunday, June 2 we kicked off a week-long celebration of our parish and patron saint, St. Robert of Newminster. We celebrated Mass at 10:00 a.m. with almost 800 people in attendance, followed by a Eucharistic procession around campus. Cars on Ada Drive slowed as they passed our parish, curious as to what was happening. What a beautiful way to share our faith with the community! After the procession, we gathered for our parish picnic. It was wonderful to see so many of you attend – especially the children, who enjoyed lots of games and face painting.
Words cannot describe how overwhelmingly thankful our staff is for this beautiful community here at SRN. Thank you to each and every member of our parish family for all you contribute. Our parish is such a special and unique place – it’s no wonder we’re the largest parish in the Diocese of Grand Rapids!

Catholic parents have a primary role in forming their children in Christian discipleship. Expecting parents are invited to explore ways to live faith in their homes and raise their children to follow Jesus prior to scheduling their baby’s baptism. The next baptism preparation will be on Tuesday, June 18 at 6:30 p.m. via Zoom.

To register for the baptism preparation session, or to schedule your baby’s baptism, contact Teresa Burns at TBurns@StRobertChurch.org or call (616) 676-9111 ext 115.
