Preschool through 8th: A new chapter begins!

We’re getting ready to welcome back our Mighty Shepherds for the start of the new school year on Monday, Aug. 24!
“This school year is especially meaningful as we begin our first year as a complete preschool through 8th grade school! What started as a dream has grown into a vibrant Catholic community where children are formed academically, spiritually, and personally from their earliest years through middle school,” writes St. Robert Catholic School Principal Liz Peters in this weekend’s bulletin (Aug. 23). It’s been a busy week of preparations as:
- School staff, teachers and leaders attended the diocesan Office of Catholic Schools Back to School Kickoff event at Cathedral Square Center.
- Parent information meetings were held for all grade levels.
- A Meet the Teachers evening was hosted in which parents accompanied their children in locating classrooms and meeting their teachers for this year. Afterward, the SRCS Home & School Association (HSA, learn more about them below) hosted Popsicles on the Playground where school families, staff and leaders reunited for refreshments and social time.
- SRN staff, school teachers and leaders participated in a CPR training because a community that’s prepared is a stronger community!
- Next week, on Thursday, Aug. 27 from 7:45 – 8:15 a.m., the HSA invites school parents to stop by for the first of two Parent Coffees in the St. Robert parking lot.
St. Robert School is enrolling students in preschool 3 through 8th grade for the 2026-27 school year. Interested families are invited to schedule a personal tour. This vibrant group of school parents is one of the reasons that our St. Robert Catholic School is so amazing! The Home & School Association (HSA) supports students, teachers, and families through events, fundraising, and partnership with school leadership. The HSA committee invites parents and families to get involved, make connections, and help create lasting memories at St. Robert. Past events include the November Gala, Putt-Putt Golf Fundraiser, Trunk or Treat, Parent Bonfires, Truck Day, the End of Year Picnic, and much more!

- SCHEDULE CHANGE REMINDERS Sept. 1-5: Father Tony will be away from the parish from Saturday, Aug. 29 through Saturday, Sept. 5. Please note the following:
- There will be NO daily Mass or adoration on Sept. 1, 3, and 4.
- 9:00 a.m. Mass on Wednesday, Sept. 2 WILL BE celebrated, but there WILL NOT be adoration or confession that day.
- First Friday Donuts on Sept. 4 WILL NOT be held.
- First Saturday Mass at 9:00 a.m. on Sept. 5 WILL NOT be celebrated.
