Contribution statements will be mailed out to the those who request them by the end of January 2024. To request your statement, please call (616) 676-9111 or send an email to our Business Office at BusinessManager@StRobertChurch.org

 

Holiday Office Hours

The Parish Offices will be closed December 26 and 29, as well as January 1 to observe Christmas and New Years. St. Robert Catholic School will be closed through January 7 for Christmas Break. Our staff wishes you all a very blessed Christmas season!

 

Art & Environment Donations

Sincere thanks to all who made memorial contributions to our Christmas Art & Environment Fund. The Sanctuary looks absolutely beautiful.

Solemnity of Mary, Mother of God

Begin 2024 by honoring Mary, the Holy Mother of God, on her special Solemnity – January 1! We will celebrate Mass together as a parish family at 10:00 a.m. in the main Sanctuary. Please enter through Doors B, C, or D.

 

Dive into Scripture in 2024 with our Community Bible Study Night, on Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m. beginning January 10! This multi-generational study will begin with dinner in Newminster Hall. At 6:30 p.m., we will break into our age-appropriate study groups:

  • Adult Disciples
  • Teen Disciples (Grades 9 – 12)
  • Young Disciples (Grades 6 – 8)
  • Junior Disciples (Grades K – 5)

RSVP by Monday, January 1 to the Faith Formation Office. Include the names and age groups of all participants.

We are hoping to offer the nursery for children 3 months through preschool. If you are able to volunteer for this service, please contact Kristen Jankowski at KristenJ@StRobertChurch.org OR (616) 676-9111 ext 132.

 
 

Parish Snapshot: What Else do I Need to Know?

  • Nourish for Caregivers: Deacon John will begin offering Nourish for Caregivers Support sessions beginning Tuesday, January 16. Please reach out to him at JAshmore@StRobertChurch.org if you are interested in joining or would like more details.
  • Young Disciples Open Center: Last chance to register! Deadline is December 27. Contact Kimberly Patterson with any questions at KPatterson@StRobertChurch.org or (616) 676-9111 ext 124.
  • Emmaus Road (Young Adult and Family) Ministry: Join us for Coffee, Cookies, and Community in the PLC after the 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. Masses on Sunday, January 7. Pray with us every Thursday from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the main Sanctuary for Eucharistic Adoration. Contact Mike Michaud at MMichaud@StRobertChurch.org or (616) 676-9111 ext 113 with any questions.
  • Faith Formation Christmas Break: Our Junior Disciples (Grades 1 – 5) will be on Christmas Break through January 7. Sessions resume January 8 & 9. Little, Young, and Teen Disciples resume sessions on Sunday, January 21. Contact the Faith Formation Office with any questions at FaithFormation@StRobertChurch.org or call (616) 676-9111 ext 114.
  • Pancake Breakfast: The Knights of Columbus will be hosting a pancake breakfast after the 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. Masses on Sunday, January 14. Join us in Newminster Hall!
