In other exciting news!
- On Thursday, March 20, a penance service with individual reconciliation was celebrated. Fr. Tony, Fr. Weber and other diocesan priests extended God’s forgiveness through the sacrament of reconciliation to more than 100 parishioners.
- The SRCS Home and School Association hosted a Fish Fry on Friday, March 21 with all proceeds going to support the Together in Christ capital campaign. Thank you to Noto’s Old World Dining for providing the delicious fish and to the HSA and parent volunteers for organizing and hosting this successful, well-attended event and to our community for coming together to support it!
- Starting on Sunday, March 23 through Sunday, April 6 at our 11 a.m. Masses, individuals from our parish who recently completed the Rite of Election are undergoing the Scrutinies, helping them prepare to receive the sacraments of baptism, confirmation and holy Communion at this year’s Easter Vigil. Please continue to pray for and welcome our parish’s candidates, elect and confirmands: Suzanne Fuchs, Jennifer and Kyle Marchand, Jane Tomaszewski, Jailine Gomez-Tellez, Soren Vandekieft, Cesar Hernandez, William Barron, Karlie Bunting, Matt Sullivan, Tony Sieler and Kim Galdes.
- Also on March 23, families of our young people preparing for first holy Communion gathered for a special retreat. Together, they learned about the Last Supper, talked about prayer, the parts of the Mass, their faith and the Eucharist, and worked on an altar project – complete with paper dolls of Fr. Tony and Fr. Weber. First Communion will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. on May 4.
- The second half of our group of young people preparing for confirmation participated in a confirmation retreat on Sunday, March 30. The first group had their retreat in February. They will all be confirmed by Bishop Walkowiak during Masses at the Cathedral of Saint Andrew on May 4 at 3 p.m. and May 6 at 7:00 p.m. Please keep our first communicants and those preparing for confirmation and their families in your prayers.

Rooted in Christ Pastoral Planning: Offer Your Input on April 24
“Rooted in Christ” is the pastoral planning process currently underway in the Diocese of Grand Rapids. Pastoral planning seeks to identify fertile ground for future evangelization efforts while addressing critical realities.
As part of this process, for the past several months, the priests of the Diocese of Grand Rapids and deanery planning committees, formed from representatives from each parish, have been working on a draft of a plan with recommendations for each deanery and parish/grouping of parishes. The plan will propose changes and new initiatives. A draft is now ready for parishes to review, discuss, and respond.
Our Parish Planning Meeting will take place on: Thursday, April 24 from 7:00—8:30 p.m. in Marian Hall The draft of the plan will be presented to parishioners for comments and suggestions. Please join us.
REGISTRATION: PLEASE REGISTER at the following link so that we know how many people to expect: https://forms.gle/wpJ4BszTE53k45tf7
Help us shape the future of the diocese and St. Robert Parish and please pray for the “Rooted in Christ” pastoral planning process.
