GT Challenge Grants: Get ready to give!

First two Challenge Grants open at midnight!

Firstly, we’re excited to report that as of midday today, donations toward our Samaritan Fund have increased from $125 to $1,000!

Two of the Challenge Grant opportunities begin at midnight and the next one after that opens at 5:00 a.m. tomorrow. While you can give any time between now and 11:59 tomorrow night, giving during Challenge Grant timeframes helps us qualify to receive additional monies toward our Samaritan Fund.

If you like a little friendly competition, we invite you to review the details below and set a reminder to make your donation within one of designated Challenge Grant timeframes on Dec. 2.

For a complete listing of available Challenge Grants, click here.

When you’re ready to donate, click the button below to give online through the SRN-Diocese of Grand Rapids giving page. All credit card fees for donations received through the giving page are covered by the diocese.

Help amplify our Giving Tuesday efforts on Dec. 2 through CFWM Challenge Grants

This Giving Tuesday, we’re fundraising for St. Robert of Newminster’s Samaritan Fund.

Our goal this year is to raise $20,000 for the SRN Samaritan Fund. To aid our efforts, the Catholic Foundation of West Michigan has generously agreed to sponsor this year’s #GiveCatholicWM campaign with available grants totaling $10,000! If you’ve been considering making a donation, we invite you give on Dec. 2 to help increase our chances of qualifying for one or more of these grants!

Our community’s participation in these five Challenge Grants during 24-hours of giving on Dec. 2 will spark good-natured competition and provides the opportunity to amplify our fundraising efforts! See details and timeframes at the link above, then plan to make your donation through our SRN-Diocese of Grand Rapids giving page.

PLEASE NOTE: In order to qualify for challenge grants, all donations must be received through the diocesan giving website. Credit card fees will be covered by the diocese which means 100% of the donations received will go to the Samaritan Fund. The Catholic Foundation of West Michigan will issue checks to the winning entities.

Additional ways to give: Cash, or checks made out to “St. Robert of Newminster” with Giving Tuesday or Samaritan Fund in the memo line are also welcome between now and the end of the day on Dec. 2! Drop off your donation in the parish office between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., or in the drop box outside the parish offices entrance (Door A). Thank you!
