Parents and grandparents, please read and share the following with the high schooler in your life!
This year, inspired by St. Pier Giorgio Frassati, High School Youth Group at St. Robert is heading “To the Heights.” (Verso l’alto) This year, we’re using the Life Teen program for high school ministry.
About St. PIer Giorgio Frassati
Born in Turin, Italy in April 1901, St. Pier Giorgio studied engineering and dedicated his life to radical charity for the poor and sick. An avid and accomplished mountain climber, he famously used the phrase “Verso l’alto” (“To the heights”) as a spiritual motto to symbolize the soul’s climb toward God. He died of polio at age 24, leaving behind a legacy of joyful holiness that earned him the title “Man of the Eight Beatitudes.” You can read much more about him on the Frassati USA website.
When do we get started?
