Coming July 15: A safer, more secure online giving experience
|
On July 15, our online giving platform, ParishSOFT Giving, will be upgraded to a new and improved version designed to provide greater convenience, efficiency, and security. This upgrade not only strengthens account security but makes online giving easier to manage.
ACTIONS TO TAKE: Before July 15: If you currently make a recurring gift online, please take a moment to write down your current ParishSOFT Giving username and password in a secure location. Login credentials (your username and password) saved in your web browser may not automatically populate after the upgrade so you’ll want to have this information handy.
After the July 15 upgrade: Additional action will be required to maintain access to your online giving account. Using your existing bookmarked giving link or visiting our parish’s online “Donate” page at St. Robert Online Giving, log in with your current username and password. You will then be prompted to: - Update your login credentials
- Set up multi-factor authentication (MFA). MFA blocks unauthorized access by demanding further proof of identity.
Once these action steps are completed, please document your new login information or save it securely through your web browser for future use.
This upgrade will enhance the security of your account giving added peace of mind and increased confidence in the protection of your personal information. At the same time, it will provide a more streamlined giving experience and improved tools for parish administration.
Please watch for additional information in the form of an email from our parish business office. To help you identify this correspondence when it arrives in your Inbox, please confirm the sender address as “donotreply@strobertchurch.org”. As a reminder, this correspondence from the business office will only be sent to parishioners currently giving a recurring donation online.
Take advantage of the benefits of online giving A recurring online gift is a great way to simplify your parish tithing, prioritize generosity, and help our parish improve the budgeting process. To set up a recurring gift of any amount online: - Visit https://strobertchurch.org/about-us/donate/.
- Click on the “Sign In” tab and on the resulting screen under the login field, you will see “Don’t have an account? Create one.”
- Click on the words “Create one” to set up your online giving profile and recurring gift. If you experience any difficulties during or after the upgrade, our business management team is available to help.
Please reach out to businessmanager@strobertchurch.org, or call (616) 676-9111, ext. 111 for assistance or with questions.
Thank you for your continued generosity and support of our parish!

Experience Mary’s presence July 22
|
The world-famous International Pilgrim Virgin Statue of Our Lady of Fatima, traveling the world since 1947, will visit St. Robert of Newminster on July 22, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
PLEASE NOTE: PARKING LOT STRIPING – Please note that striping will be taking place on portions of our parking lot on July 22. Please enter our parking lot using the west entrance driveway, and park in the northwest sections of the lot which are not being worked on. Several handicapped parking spots are located adjacent to Door D. Enter the church through Door D.
Throughout its travels, countless favors and graces have been reported, and many have been inspired to a deeper relationship with Our Lord through the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
We invite you, your family, and friends to come and experience this special visitation of Our Lady.

Welcoming our senior neighbors Aug. 8
|
The Senior Citizen Picnic on Saturday, Aug. 8 at St. Robert serves our senior neighbors in low-income housing from various facilities throughout West Michigan. For some seniors, it’s their only outing of this type during the year.
We’ll be welcoming around 180 guests on Aug. 8. We will need the help of many volunteers (signups coming soon!) but committee’s focus currently is on collecting donations—both physical and monetary– to be given as raffle and door prizes to our senior guests. Every guest will leave with a gift on Aug. 8!
STOP BY THE BULLETIN BOARD IN THE NARTHEX THIS WEEKEND TO DONATE OR SIGN UP TO VOLUNTEER:
- Volunteer signups are open – the picnic is a great opportunity for our parish community to come together and care for and serve our senior neighbors. A variety of roles are available – donate a baked good, help with setup or teardown, prepare and serve lunch, help our senior guests participate in a series of fun games and more!
- Donate! Stop by the bulletin board in the narthex to learn more and grab a gift tag, or visit our picnic web page at https://strobertchurch.org/events/senior-citizen-picnic/ for more details.
