Anointing of the Sick

Many associate the anointing of the sick with those near death, but it is also a powerful sacrament for times of surgery or physical, mental, or emotional struggle. In these moments, we need the Holy Spirit’s gifts of strength, faith, peace, and courage. This is when the anointing of the sick is also available to us. Those desiring to receive this Sacrament from a priest should notify Katie Mendenhall, our Director of Pastoral Care.
