Faith Formation early registration ends Aug. 1!

Register your child for faith formation today! Early bird pricing ends on Aug. 1.

Our Faith Formation programs for nursery through 12th grade offer more than just knowledge, they foster discipleship, prayer and community. Whether your child is preparing for First Communion, Confirmation, or learning more about Jesus, we’re excited to welcome them and partner with you in growing and strengthening their Catholic faith and identity.

Registering by Aug. 1 saves you money, helps guarantee that your child gets into the class of your choice and helps the faith formation plan ahead.

To register your child(ren) for Faith Formation, visit strobertchurch.org/faith-formation/registration/. Sessions begin in September!

Please contact Hans Whitmer, director of faith formation, with questions, (616) 676-9111, ext. 117, or hwhitmer@strobertchurch.org.

Adult Faith Formation – Upcoming Opportunities

Monday Evening and Wednesday Morning Bible Study: A brand new edition of the Great Adventure Bible Timeline Study from Ascension Press is being released this fall. At St. Robert, we will use it to study our way through the Bible on Monday nights from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. starting October 6 and Wednesday mornings from 10:00 a.m. – Noon starting September 17. This study will be led by Hans Whitmer, director of faith formation.

Calling all Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) Candidates and Inquirers: Are you thinking about becoming Catholic? Are you Catholic, but never confirmed? Maybe you’re a confirmed Catholic, but you could use a refresher on what that means.

The 2025-26 St. Robert of Newminster Inquirers Class begins Sunday, September 7 from 10:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. It will meet at that time most Sundays through the end of May.  A continental style breakfast will be served at each meeting.

The first eight weeks of the class is called  “The Rescue Project.” (RP) If you experienced RP last year and know a friend who would benefit from this program, please consider inviting them. If you missed the program last year, come check it out this fall! For those considering becoming a member of the Catholic Church, this study will explain the big picture of what Christianity is all about.

To register for the above offerings, or for more information about adult learning opportunities at SRN, email Hans Whitmer at hwhitmer@strobertchurch.org or call (616) 676-9111, ext. 117.
