Parish Twinning – San Juan Diego Academy

Over the years, St. Robert of Newminster and Holy Name of Jesus Parish and San Juan Diego Academy (SJDA) have developed a strong sister parish relationship. Each year, our pastors engage in a pulpit swap for Masses on one weekend a year, usually in the spring.

For more than 10 years, St. Robert parishioners have generously supported the SJDA annual school fundraiser so that high-quality Catholic education remains available to families served by the school. In addition, Holy Name of Jesus parishioners navigating difficult financial circumstances are also invited to join us for St. Robert’s annual Senior Citizen Picnic and participate in the Adopt-a-Family program.
