Sacramental Celebrations!

Congratulations to all the growing disciples of our parish who recently celebrated sacraments here at SRN! A special THANK YOU to all the staff members, catechists, and volunteers who helped prepare them and their families. In the past two weeks, we’ve celebrated 99 First Communions and 62 Confirmations. 
 

This Weekend at St. Robert’s

Beginning May 25/26 (Memorial Day Weekend), SRN will offer three weekend Masses: 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, and 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. on Sundays. This Sunday, May 19 (Pentecost) is the final celebration of the 6:00 p.m. evening Mass.

Celebrate the graduating class of 2024 with a special Blessing of the Graduates during the 6:00 p.m. Mass on Sunday, May 19. Contact Michael Renauer with any questions at MRenauer@StRobertChurch.org or call (616) 676-9111 ext 118.

 

Sunday, May 19 is also the final weekend for the Nursery until mid-September. We are in need of volunteers to work the Nursery during the 9:00 a.m. Mass and the Emmaus Road Ministry event from 10:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Contact Kristen Jankowski if you’re available to serve at (616) 676-9111 ext 132 or KristenJ@StRobertChurch.org.
 

The Celebration Continues After the Picnic!
  • Tuesday, June 4: Let’s celebrate Mass together at 6:30 p.m. Our priests will offer a special blessing to all attendees as we head into summer. All families of the parish are encouraged to attend, and we will finish the evening with ice cream on the playground! RSVP at https://rb.gy/p7cxjp by June 2 to ensure we get enough ice cream.
  • Wednesday, June 5: Celebrate the final Mass of the school year with the students and staff of Saint Robert Catholic School at 9:00 a.m.
  • Thursday, June 6: Sign up for a special holy hour in thanksgiving for our patron saint and to pray for the needs of our parish. Time slots are available from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sign up online at https://rb.gy/kp4ar.
  • Friday, June 7: We’ll finish out the week with an evening of peaceful prayer as a faith community. Join Fr. Weber for Evening Prayer (Liturgy of the Hours) in the Sanctuary at 6:00 p.m. We will have a relic of St. Robert of Newminster on display for veneration until 7:00 p.m.

Don’t be SHELLFISH – Volunteer at Scuba VBS!

We need your help! Make a splash while sharing your time and talent with the growing disciples at SRN and dive your way into a deeper relationship with God. Volunteers in 6th grade through high school and adults are needed to ensure VBS runs “swimmingly”. Volunteers are needed June 17 through 20 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.

Want to turn our campus into an underwater wonderland? Join us on Thursday, June 13 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. to decorate for VBS. Students in middle school and high school are welcome to join us!
