At St. Robert of Newminster Parish, and within the Diocese of Grand Rapids, sacramental prep for Reconciliation & Communion occurs during 2nd grade. All disciples enrolled in the 2nd grade Faith Formation program or in 2nd grade at St. Robert Catholic School will automatically receive sacrament prep.
Important Dates for the 2026-27 Faith Formation year:
- Parent/Child Reconciliation Retreat: Sunday, Dec. 6, 2026, 12:30 – 2:30 p.m.
- First Reconciliation: Saturday, Dec. 12, 2026, 10:00 a.m.
- Parent/Child First Communion Retreat: Sunday, April 18, 2027, 12:30 – 3:00 p.m.
- First Communion Mass: Sunday, April 25, 2027, 1:30 p.m.
